Shameless beginner

This is really just a test as I am, as I say, a shameless beginner at blogging. Its just fun to see something I wrote on the golden pedestal that was the internet but is now really just "big fat imaginary friend to many" - how's that for a first contoversial post? (i understand that's a requirement of blogging...?) if anyone ever reads this you are welcome to point out that I therefore must also have too much time on my hands to be taking on the imaginary friend! Well; au contrair, I'm too busy and i expect this blog will hardly be updated... us modern types have so much choice in the world we hardly commit to anything anymore. I feel I'm doing well at the being-controversial thing. Well anyway, we'll see if my sceptiscism about how many will read this - and about my capability to add to my blog, is unfounded or not - leave a post!!
